today is another day i feel like posting something but i just realised i hav a lot of unposted stories written half way for the past few months. regrettably i'm not so active on my blog these few months. just need to find another way to motivate myself. well - guess wat, i'm holding a glass of vodka mixed with coke right now and cont. typing... :p

its been a long time i'm kinda lost from the world n hav not been contacting my good old frens. tats not bad at all come to think bout it. giving myself some space n time to relax n do wat i hav to do. its just scary when time flies before i realise, but lots been done n i've learned a lot when i look back - which is wat i call achievement n fulfillment to myself sometimes. mayb i like it tat way =) sudden realisation! (watever u call it)

there r tons of things i wanted to post here - my macau trip with my mom last month; all my frens' bday; weddings; short n fun trips; catch ups; n the list goes on...

unfortunately now tat my glass of vodka coke is finishing, i think i better shut down n end here.

i'm gonna get very emotional every time i watch this video/ending again n again. wat more can i say? i cant find a word to describe this match. its extra marvelously fantastically magnificently dramatically emotionally ok to end this the BEST match in the world i've ever watched. it went on to 4am malaysian time so i had to watch replay. i still need to work on monday morning so..ya..

anyway good job nadal n this time we r all very convinced ur the next best player in the world of men's tennis. i could see how sad federer's face was after the match but there must b 1 n only winner in every match so.. its time to retire =)

to tag along this celebration olympic is coming next month n i hope nadal will b the champion again. well 2008 is ur yr so.. grab all ur trophies man! =)

its christmas again. n finally i get my leaves. ya finally. i was told by my boss tat someone new in the company is not allowed to apply leave but my HR told me tat i must clear all my leaves by yr end. conflict caused frustration n my holidays just got wasted till then.

i love flee market. i love to shop good & cheap things including things tat cannot b easily found in the market. special is the word =) so flee market is the place where i can get all the beautiful n cheap stuffs at the same time hav fun with foods & frens.

also if there is a flee market at ampang, i can set up a stall n sell off all my old stuffs n unwanted goods. no doubt flee market is the fastest, easiest n cheapest way =)

well, who will b the one taking the initiative n opportunity to explore this market? i really think its a good idea coz ampang has sooo many foreigners n expatriates. just need one during the weekends n i believe it'll definitely b a successful n crowded one.. trust me this time =)

i've been going home late every night for the pass whole month n i found out that the streets in malaysia is no longer safe. sometimes i feel pretty scared when i'm driving home alone when i see those motor cyclists who come in a group n trying to whistle and teased at me. they r brave enough as they r in a group (yes mat rampit tats wat we call them here, but i wish i don hav to name them this way as everyone has parents) i dunno how to react except ignoring them but! tats when they feel even better n keep following my car. wat i did was just drove into the nearest petrol station n pretend to fill up. even when i go to the bank in the night (alone) there r many indians in a group waiting n watching out there. how sad tat i hav to live in fear for doing wat i hav to do everyday. malaysia is no longer safe to live? i thought we r the most harmony n famous for its best tolerance in the world. tats wat we r trying to promote to the world everytime saying we r multi-racial yet living in peace for 50 yrs. how proud r we to celebrate our independence n yet we r actually not peace in our hearts n mind. shame i could say if we r putting a show out there to the world promoting wat we r not n we (the nation) here r trying to please ourselves tat we r already there but we r actually not. i think we (especially those who r sitting the chairs up there) should think of ourselves again for who we r n wat r we doing for this country rather than start blaming each other for not being fair. if tat doesnt change, 50 yrs later we'll still b living the way we r living today. but who cares? as long as i'm still enjoying my life, y do i hav to think for the others? (tats wat most of the ppl will say)

when nadal lost to nalbandian i really couldnt believe it. but this morning after i read the news tat he beat federer in the final i think tats TRUE!! how well did he play i hav no idea. just wish i could b there (in madrid) to watch it live. n yeah, i'm happy with the results =)

street market in naefels selling 2nd hand stuffs @luzern with nat's family the peter family. they hav 2 lovely kids, kristina & nikolas. wonder how much they've grown up now the best woman i've ever met. ursi (ursula). peter ur the luckiest man on earth ;-) missed the train. had to sleep at the train station till the next morning train. poor nuha n i had to wonder around the whole night my host bro sami n i in zurich fest went for camp on the alps. well prepared huh. no toilet for shower. we had to use the fresh chilling mountain water. blrrrr~~ ya we came out in the newspaper. i forgot y my classmates. 4H is the best out for dinner big smile

hui chin was trying to convince me tat facebook is better than friendster few days ago after she went back to sg. i told her i wasnt planning to sign up as i think time doesnt allow me to go up to these kinda websites n update, manage them everyday. there r too many of them since few yrs back. i wonder who has the time in the world to register n sign up every single one. i really didnt wanna hav too many of those as i'm already even slowly facing off from friendster. ppl asking me questions like y my photos never change since 2 yrs ago? y i never update wat i'm doing recently. anyway at the end i registered facebook for the sake of others. but i'm at the stage tat i only click to accept things rather than taking the initiative to search for friends, sending messages or posting bulletins. i prefer to hav a real touch or i should say face to face (eyes to eyes) communication nowadays than just messaging on the net, catching up through ways tat are not tangible. i had enough of those, i had tried ldr (long distance relationship), i know its not easy, if i hav a choice, i wanna see the people i love everyday, i wanna touch them, talk to them. i'm not outdated, or mayb i am. but we cant fight the technology today, we hav to chase over it, like a rat race. a bit sad but true. so frens, pls forgive my laziness for not updating my sites, pls call me if u wanna talk to me (skype also can), ask me out if u wanna see me, distance is not always an excuse.

yest evening i met hui chin in midvalley. we had a couple hours of chat to catch up, i think the last time we met each other was the last day of 2006, new yrs eve when i visited her in singapore. as usual, we had our favorite ice cream baskins, then we went for a cheese cake - for more fat :-) while we were chatting one funny guy bounced to us n passed us a small piece of paper 'would u like to loose a few of inches' he said. then we just laughed at him n din really know wat we should react to his 'offensive' question. anyway he ran off right after we rejected him. oh my god, tats 'direct' marketing, i mean really straight n direct telling me i should lose weight.

apart from tat funny experience, we moved on with our 'ladies' chat n hui chin pls remember, i'm always here for u too. don worry u'll find ur way out. it will go along the way n always make the best decision for urself. we shall meet again soon i think? take care!

i know it feels weird when i'm feeling so touched by you people. don b surprised if wat i'm to write is coming out deep inside from my heart. knowing tat many of my college mates hav left to overseas n i think most of them hav departed if i'm not mistaken stephy will b the last one n is to leaving very soon. out of curiosity but most probably missing u guys, i was checking out all the blogs of each of everyone of u. i read ur stories, was impressed, was touched, n at the same time feeling happy for everyone of u who r happy n moving on with ur lives. also thanks to stephy, if not bcoz of ur blog, i wont b reading the others like kooi, bear, jess, joshua, hardip, jordan, nigel, zack, nadia n many more others forgive me for not having ur websites or i'll definitely read them. its been months i din get to see some of u who r still here. i always believe tat we will meet again one day n somehow we will. i'm not upset, not feeling sad, but i hav no idea how to describe my feelings tonight while i'm thinking back all the memories for the past 2 yrs. included my other commitments out there with AFS, MIB n CAPA. i miss those days tat i cant get back as i started working. all i know its totally a new chapter of my life now n i hav my own plans to live on. i couldnt believe how fast things hav changed in 2 yrs n tat was the most precious moment of my life i would say. thank every single one of u for being part of it, things hav changed but memories will never change. i bet tat...

i hav been staying at ampang for 20 yrs but i hav never tried the korean restaurants around here. last sat esther n i decided to dine in one of them opposite ampang point. its our first time, so we just walked into any tat we felt 'ok' from out first sights. it was pretty cool i could say. overall great experience n i'll definitely bring my parents here next week. its also not as expensive as wat ppl think. its pretty cheap compared to other foreign food. but i dont think everybody will like it, its just no harm trying something new n different :-)

i met Willem (from belgiun) today. he came here for exchange 2 yrs ago n now he is back again for holiday. just couldn believe its been 2 yrs. i really hope to go back to switzerland one day as well... miss there so much

bangkok trip (2 - 6 july)

my first experience with airasia was flying to bangkok on my own. for me, it was excellent. i don hav any complain n mayb i was lucky. but to b honest, i will definitely fly with airasia again if they hav flights to destination i'm going to.

day 1~
my fren (originally is my bro's fren ^still my bro's fren^hehe:-)) lynn picked me up from the airport once i arrived. together with koy & giggs (both r lynn's frens) then we had dinner around her house. was feeling so excited. everybody (i mean EVERYBODY) is speaking thai. but it wasnt strange to me at all. mayb coz one of my childhood frens is thai n i hav many thai frens in my life. quite used to their slang. n i know quite a couple of thai words. (oh i'm genius, STO u know. hehe:-))

after the dinner, i open the bangkok map i took from the airport n plan my trip for the next few days. lynn n her frens r so helpful n they gav me so many advices on where to go n how to get there (also some of the local prices so i wont get cheated) oh gosh, it was really cool to b my own tour guide. FREEDOM~~ u know... n of coz, its good to know the local ppl rather than being there as a 'blind' tourist.

P/S: the tomyam was so delicious (sour n taste diff than those selling here), the fish was so special with salt on top. i can still feel the 'sour' whenever i think of it... hehe/

day 2~
now start my journey by being a bit adventurous. just A BIT. took the map, bought the train tic, all the way down to town. wat else? shopping la @@ (i actually prepared a list of wat i wanna buy from bangkok, to prevent me from splurging my money - as usual) i walked the whole day, from 1 shopping mall to another. i think basically i rounded all shopping malls the whole day. but the best part is, i did something i never did in my life - finger nails art^^ don b surprise. ya~ i painted my nails for rm20. so? just a simple one. fathao ma (really dunno wats the best word to use in eng) bought 3 bags, 2 pairs of sandals, some accessories, etc... (really some only) oh ya, to reward myself for walking the whole day, i went for rm9.90 massage (really cheap n good)

last thing of the day, a nice n romantic dinner in an old style restaurant. (found my grandfather phone n hot water flask there, i mean the really old one from china)

this morning my bro called from taiwan. bro~ don worry la. i can take care of myself. u everytime treat me like a little gal. but i know ur just worried bout me. just don hav to worry k? i wont die here one. hehe:-)

today i went to the older shopping malls at the other side of the town n did some shopping again (never ending shopping here). later then took tuk tuk to lumpini (where there is this HUGE night market n thai boxing) lynn came down after work n we met for dinner. i couldn find the fake lv wallet in town for my bro but finally i found 1 here. there r really nice n cool stuffs n also beautiful bars. i wanted to get some drinks there but lynn said tats not the right place. well~ safety first**

its unbelievable wat i did today.

first i took the train to the last station n walked all the way to the old town. i passed by china town, further, further, further... until i reach the wat pho n grand palace. OMG, it took me 3 hours... after tat i tak boleh tahan (couldn stand) i went for an hour massage in wat pho. i thought i would feel better after massage, the si fu just broke or i should say crack all the bones in my body. she really made me 'hancur'

i moved on, kept walking n walking. then i met a kind man who suggested me places i can visit. he then got me a super duper cheap tuk tuk ride rounding the whole old town for only rm2. its my lucky day^^ coz he waited for me n brought me to so many places. its just not reasonable to earn rm2 for 2 hours work. at the end i gave him some tips for his kindness. i hope it could at least cover his petrol.

wat i like the most was the series of ad campaign from all the famous artists n celebrities. very interesting n teased me to find out more from the website.

but wat happened after tat was - i really feel the fear of the world going to an end. i do believe the scientists will find the way out to save our living place but it will b better if all of us can b more responsible of wat we r doing. every single little thing really matters when it comes to quantity. i'm more aware now n try my best to take care of the environment (although i am since i've been to school. hehe:-)) but now, even when i'm booking a flight i'm concerning whether am i flying too far n use too much petrol .damn... but i just love traveling...

yeah!!! finally its done. kinda mission impossible. it took me the whole week... but now! everything is packed n set. i'm just waiting to send those old stuffs out. so many things i bought last time n now they r useless. i must stop myself from buying anything now. morro is my flight to bangkok. i will b back on fri night. hope everything will b alright...

big headache to clean my room. the dust!! oh my god. n so much rubbish... so many things i hav collected since high school like books, presents, dolls, stationaries... oh my i think i can open a shop to sell all my things.

so far i hav separated a few bags to donate to the orphanage n to sell to cash converters. some tat i really dunno wat to do with them. cards, notes, decos, n stuffs like souvenirs... crazy... i should stop buying things now n get rid of wat i hav. my bed? its not a question. i cant even see my bed sheet. my bed is covered with all my things now. tonight i hav to sleep in my bros room. again... sad!

just had dinner with my bro n his boss b4 they go back to taiwan morro morning. as usual. its like the previous many many trips he came back to malaysia. rushing here n there to settle all his work. then rushing back to taiwan again without having more time spent with the family (me).

i can see he is very stress. this time their mission failed. i dunno wat he is gonna tell his boss, but i guess he has experienced this many times. everything will b fine i guess

for ppl who know me, do not know how much i love watching tennis. first of all i would like to say rafael nadal n maria sharapova r my favorite n best players currently. i know maria lost tonight. very disappointed. she could win if she changed her strategy n game plan in the 2nd set. anyway, really looking forward to this sun men's final. i know for sure its roger n rafa. hopefully rafa will win roger this time. it will b a very competitive match. i think rafa wont repeat the same mistake in hamburg. roger is a very smart player. too smart i should say. hehe add in more excitement to the audience like me. good luck gentlemen :-)

my dad's bday is coming soon. so i asked him 'wat would u like to watch? i spend u la.. my fair lady musical? concerts? or any...' then he said 'spider man 3!' happily.. my mom n i were stunt... so ok... its good for my wallet. hehe.. movie tickets r cheaper yet with the same hours of entertainment as musicals and concerts. n tats the plan. dinner, cake then movie in KLCC. only one thing missing is my bro couldnt make it. he will b flying to holland for business. miss him so much. i know he misses home as well..
